If you need to connect a standard LED strip to an RGB controller with a strip over 5 meters long, you cannot do without an RGB amplifier!
The main function of the amplifier is to increase the operating parameters of the controller, including - the possibility of checking and adjusting longer bands, if the design of the controller provides - for example, not 5, but 10 meters. The amplifier works with a separate power supply unit.
