12V lights are used in saunas and in conditions of high humidity and temperature.
Heat resistance
Sauna lights must be heat resistant and designed to work at a temperature of at least 110 °C.

LED strips for Sauna

As mentioned above, it is important to choose moisture-resistant LED strips with a protection class of at least IP68 for sauna use.

LED strips should be installed in places where they are not directly exposed to high temperatures, such as under seats or along walls, and they should not be installed more than 1-1.5 meters above the floor.

To ensure the stable operation of LED strips, high-quality drivers and power supplies that can withstand high temperatures should be used. It is best to install the power sources outside the sauna, and if such an option is not available, a mounting box should be used to store them.

Sauna LED spotlights

Spot lights are small LED lamps that are installed in the ceiling or walls. They allow you to create directed light by focusing on certain zones. Their higher heat resistance than LED strips makes them a good choice for ceiling installation.

The small dimensions of the lights allow them to be installed in a limited space, and thanks to their modern design, they can be a stylish addition to the interior of the sauna.

Installation features:

Spot lights must be made of materials resistant to high temperature and humidity. It is optimal to place spotlights so that they are not aimed directly at the face, creating soft, direct lighting.

To prevent moisture damage to the lights, it is recommended to use airtight models with a high protection class.

LED sauna lighting offers many benefits, including energy efficiency, durability and safety. When choosing between LED strips and spotlights, it is important to consider the installation and use characteristics of each type of lighting. A careful approach to the selection and installation of LED lighting not only creates a pleasant relaxing atmosphere, but also makes your sauna safe.
